I love tattooing. Its the coolest thing in the world, and there’s nothing else like it. We create a product and perform a service, but really it’s about an experience. A true, earthly experience in a world where truth becomes more scarce everyday.

Tattooing has given me everything I have. A decent living, countless friends, and a family. Armadillo Red took me under his wing and apprenticed me the proper way fresh out of high school and I can never thank him enough. I realized how far the family extends when I attended my first National Convention in Orlando in 2015. And then again in 2016, 17, and 18. Since then, I’ve made a whole bunch of new friends and really began to recognize how big and beautiful this whole thing really is. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Tattooing, and I’ll do my very best to carry on the art and tradition that will make the forefathers of this mighty craft proud.

I want to thank the NTA family for the opportunity to show my work, and I appreciate all the people who make this organization so awesome!!

[When I was compiling the Convention Issue last July, I was struck by the number of awards this young man had piled on a table in front of him. I took notice. He is prolific. And humble. —Ed.]
